Biography
Etienne Farrell (b.1974) is a contemporary multimedia artist based in Malta. She often dedicates her work to interpreting emotive issues. Her work consists of gallery and site-specific work varying from paintings to sculpture, installations, interactive pieces, videography and photography.
Her work is showcased internationally in solo and collective exhibitions, including in Arles, Paris, Brussels, Malta and Luxembourg and also forms part of the national collection of Heritage Malta.
She holds a BA in History of Art and Communication Studies, PGCE, PGDEAM, Master in Interculture and Environmental Management and a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts. She is a visiting lecturer within the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences at the University of Malta.
