Flowers

2020

This series of photographs presents the female form in fragments, adorned with flowers, to explore the paradoxical strength inherent in fragility. Romantic and delicate in surface, yet resolutely powerful in intent, the work draws on phenomenological thought and psychological notions of vulnerability as agency, where exposure becomes a site of resilience rather than weakness. Floral motifs act as both ornament and restraint, evoking silence while asserting presence, and situating the subject within a liminal space between goddess and human. In this quiet tension, beauty is neither passive nor ornamental; it is a force that endures, transforms, and commands.
